Privacy Policy

For Visitors

Visitance will collect personal information from you, including your name and contact information, and record this as contact tracing information for the facility you're accessing today. We collect this information in order to provide the facility with contact tracing and occupancy counting information as is likely required by local law currently.

We share this information with the operator of the facility in order to allow them to operate safely within building capacity requirements and in order to allow them to communicate with you. The operator may share this information with local government agencies when requested to assist with contact tracing in accordance with the local laws in which this facility operates.

Providing your information through Visitance is optional, however if you choose not to provide your contact details, we will most likely recommend your entry to the facility is refused by the operator. Please speak to the operator if you prefer not to use this service to register your details.

We keep your information safe by storing the data within industry standard, secure data centres and restricting data access to the purposes defined in this privacy statement.

You have the right to ask for a copy of any personal information we hold about you, and to ask for it to be corrected if you think it is wrong. If you’d like to ask for a copy of your information, or to have it corrected, please contact us at support@jonasleisure.com.au.

For Operators

All data recorded by Visitance is stored in a Microsoft Azure Data Centre (Australia East) and does not leave Australia (i.e. backups).

Operators set their own Data Retention Policies within Visitance which should match local government guidance on how long information gathered specifically for contact tracing purposes should be kept. (e.g. The Victorian Government in Australia states this information should be kept for 28 days).
